This is a really nice apartment to live in. Good location to my work place too. But because walls are so thin, I can hear my neighbors sometimes. It does not bother me that much, but for some people it can be irritating.

New and clean

I moved from a house to an apartment recently. We love the simplicity of apartment living. The only thing I would change is the bricks that my upstairs neighbor must be wearing on thier feet when they walk throughout their apartment at all hours of the night. However, I don't hear anything from my next door neighbors at all.

May 2016 Review

I have only been here for a short time but I love the building and the people in it. I've had two complaints thus far, though. The first was that only one of three treadmills was working and the second is that the starbucks machine had the absolute worst hot chocolate. It's almost water. Those two small reasons aside, everything else is fantastic I had a small mishap with the autopay on my first payment but that was resolved very attentively by the great staff. I truly don't plan on going anywhere else for a long time

Living here has be great!

Living here has be great! The location is close to DT Orlando and Winter Park. You re also close to I4 so its super easy to get anywhere around Central Florida. The apartments themselves are beautiful and all my friends love coming over. They always comment on the beautiful kitchen, spacious rooms/closets, and great facilities the Ivy offers. The staff in the building is amazing and super helpful. If you ever need anything done all you have to do is tell them and they get right on it. So glad I choose to live here!

On top of it all you can not beat the location anywhere else in Orlando. I would highly recommend moving to The Ivy if you are looking for an apartment in the heart of Orlando.

I ve really enjoyed living at The Ivy so far. I always feel extremely safe which was very important to me. The apartments are nice and a good size, and the amenities around the complex are great. Parking is never an issue which is a huge plus.

I lived in many rental properties in different states

I lived in many rental properties in different states. This is my 11th home. It is a wonderful place to live. Jackie and Keisha are wonderful and easy to talk to. They fix things right away when we have a concern. We live on the 5th floor so the noise level is not bad at all. As an experienced tenant, if you don t live on the top floor, know that you ll hear noises wherever you are so I can t use it against them. The amenities are mostly well-kept. The only thing I have an issue is the dodgy internet access in the common areas, I do not use it often but when I do, it does not connect most of the time. My only true negative is the inconsiderate tenants around. They leave dog poop and cigarette butts everywhere. It is embarrassing to bring guest and walk-in a poopy elevator. The positives are the staff, the location (I work in FH), the gym, amenities, upgraded apartments, the maintenance guys, the parking garage being free and secure and the overall community feel. We plan on stating until we have to purchase a home. It is one of the best places i have lived in.

I just signed my 3rd lease at The Ivy

I just signed my 3rd lease at The Ivy. The apartments are beautiful inside and out and conveniently located close to Winter Park, College Park and downtown and within walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shops in Ivanhoe Village. Parking is never an issue or finding a chair by the beautiful pool. There is also a gym, grilling area, and several other areas for you and your friends or family to hang out. The leasing staff and maintenance staff are always polite, courteous and helpful. If you are looking for a wonderful place to call home come check this people friendly and pet friendly place out!

Great location, pleasing surroundings

I have lived at the Ivy Residences at Health Village for about a month and I am loving it. The location is highly convenient, right by Florida Hospital Orlando E Rollins St , and in between interesting parts of Orlando, i.e. College Park and Winter Park. In addition, the Ivy Residences at Health Village is also located right by the highway, making this apartment complex super accessible. Anything that can be needed on a daily basis, such as a post office, banks, and supermarkets, is within a 2 to 5 mile radius from the apartment complex. It is useful to have a bike, scooter or car though, because it is hard to run errands on foot. The closest ZipCar is a 20 to 30 minute walk away, which is a drawback for me. The apartment complex itself is beautiful as well as the apartments are well-kept. I am a very tidy person and I was extremely pleased when I moved into my studio, because it was spotless. I swear that I did not find anything that I could report. I also feel safe living here. You need a fob and or remote to enter any of the premises. Lastly, the staff is amazing. The agents at the leasing office are exceptionally friendly and not even willing to help me, but actually able to help me. I feel absolutely welcomed here. For the rent that I am paying, the standard is superb, I would even say better than expected. I have compared prices for a studio in other apartment complexes and there has been none that could beat the Ivy Residences at Health Village. This apartment complex satisfies my needs fully.

Best choice I've made was moving here

I think it's great living here The location is perfect, just down the street from amazing restaurants, bars, and shopping. I can get to Winter Park or Down Town in less than 10 mins which means I always have something to do. The apartment it self is beautiful Everyone who has come over tells me how much they love the kitchen, and the bathroom, and how big the closet is, and etc. Parking is never a problem. Always tons of parking and I am always on the same floor as my apartment. I was a bit worried when I moved in about the construction on I4 maybe causing some noise issues, but my apartment is one of the ones closest to the construction I almost never hear anything. The only issues I've has, and it's super minor, is my upstairs neighbor makes some weird noises sometimes. It's not really that often, but they are not normal noises like heavy feet. Not sure what's going on up there sometimes but its never too bad.

After reading a questionable amount of negative reviews

After reading a questionable amount of negative reviews on here, I felt I needed to express my sincere joy and appreciate of The Ivy. I moved in December 2015, after a horrid experience at another property where I, unfortunately, had to terminate my lease early due to unacceptable living conditions. I came to the Ivy in a state of panic, and instantly my concerns and worries were put to ease. Keisha, is truly the most personable and sweetest leasing consultant I have ever worked with (there have been MANY.) She was so sweet, so helpful, and so attentive to my needs. She found me an apartment I loved, and was honest the entire time. Fast forward a few months, since everything was great and there was no reason for me to contact the office… she still remembered me BY NAME AND MY UNIT NUMBER. Those are the things that make you feel at home, and significant.Yes, my apartment windows face the I-4 and unfortunately, it is not so quiet. HOWEVER, I knew this signing my lease (as did the rest of you, complainers) and it is not something I will hold The Ivy accountable for. I ve gotten totally used to the background noise of the traffic and truly don t mind it at all. Construction isn t as bad as you all make it seem… Overall totally tolerable noise.As far as new management, I will agree there have been some very minor changes to the property since new management took over. Yes, god forbid, there are no longer starbucks cups… now they re styrofoam… what will we do…?? If the biggest complaint is different cups, I think we re living just fineAs far as people who say the property is dirty.. I truly beg to differ. I think the property is VERY well maintained and has a very clean feel to it. I have lived here nearly a year now and have seen dog accidents twice, ONLY TWICE. I think for a community filled with dogs that is totally reasonable and acceptable. The dog area is always maintained well, not a large amount of feces or awful smell like many dog areas at communities.

Love Hate

The Ivy has been my favorite apartment thus far in terms of location, layout of the apartment, and the property is beautiful but in the last 6 months that I have lived here, I have been woken up numerous times to the fire alarm in the middle of the night. It is more than annoying to have to get out of bed, get dressed and stand outside to false alarms with a bunch of people...Get it together. Only recommended to night owls and for those who don't have to wake up early in the morning

Ivy review

Overall good apartment living. Trash rooms get full of peoples garbage but that is just laziness of residents not something the community can really stop. The only down fall is the paper thin walls that you can hear your neighbors to either side and also below you quite well.

Its spacious and the price were paying is not too bad considering the location. Living well in Orlando can get very pricey. I love the design of the apartments. It was clean when I moved in and I also got free pizza which was nice. Although Jacki confused me at times, she is always helpful and pleasant. I love that theres a parking garage instead of it being a gated community. Typically the gates are always broken in places like that. The skywalk is amazing. It saves me so much time and its Safe. Its not loud so far. I hear music when I walk through the hall but its not super loud. I love it so far. The construction sometimes shakes my room, but thats about it. The gym comes in handy. I havent taken advantage of free coffee/ tea but I will soon.

I lived in several nice places in the past

I lived in several nice places in the past but I have to say that the pool and amenities to this place is very welcoming and cozy. I love that the pool is large and the lounge area is just incredible relaxing and awesome. It definitely gives you the warm feeling of having small gatherings and bbq get togethers. The walls are very thin here though but mainly business professionals live here so luckily our floor has been calm and peaceful. If I were to suggest any changes to this place would be the coffee cups and creamer. When we first moved in, nice Starbucks sturdy cups, French Vanilla and Hazelnut creamer. A month later they changed it to a non brand but still sturdy cup and non dairy creamer. Last week it was changed again to styrofoam cups and nondairy generic creamer. Ivy, if you can go back to the nice coffee products you had before, it was definitely more enjoyable to come down to the cyber cafe and drink coffee while on my lap top. As for security and parking garage, it would be nice to just have All Access fob key minus the garage opener because having 2 is just a hassle. Putting cameras in the actual parking garage would be useful and more safe rather than just the entrance. Last, I would love if Ivy would install a FOB access on all of the garage doors so that residents would feel more safe. At the moment, anyone can follow a car into the gate and get in very easily so that makes it very uncomfortable. Overall we have been here for 3 months and we like it here, just the coffee and fob all access needs improvement here. Keep up the good work Ivy, we know you re still new here and making adjustments to please the residents, thank you for that.

Everything is great with one exception My upstairs neighbor is a bit hard on the floors when they walk around. They walks around a lot. I suggest they consider doing that in the gym downstairs. I never hear anything from either side neighbor.

Great location, not so great maintenance

We have had quite a few issues with alarms going off in the couple months that we have lived here and it typically takes two days to quiet the alarm. Our upstairs neighbors are also very loud at times but you cannot hear any outside noise which is really good. Overall I would recommend, I think our upstairs neighbors must have young children or dogs that run around all day until about 11 pm.

Good Quality for a Reasonable Price

The overall quality of the complex is high. The office and maitenance staff are first rate and the price considering location is good. Access to College Park, Winter Park and downtown make this an ideal location. The construction on I4 is an ongoing concern but has little to do with the complex itself. The residents at times leave something to be desired. The hallways can get messy, garbage in the trash rooms can pile up, etc but this is the result of the overall resident lack of respect and apathy. The staff does the best job they can to keep up. Grounds are nice overall and common areas are well maintained. Office hours are average but ideally they would be longer and open on Sunday. The selection of units is good and the quality of fixtures is reasonably high. Overall a great balance of style, location, great staff, and price.

"I've lived in similar properties to this - sort of high end, new, multi-family apartments with great amenities. I have to say that the residents treat the property better than other places I've lived. In addition, the grounds and maintenance staff are always on top of everything I often hear my neighbors upstairs, and i don't think that they're loud. I believe that it's just the construction. My roommate and I can hear everything that the other one is doing, even speaking at normal levels with the bedroom doors closed."

Excellent Convenient location proximity to highway I-4 ramp modern design indoor parking staff is responsive to community needs excellent lounge and open-access spaces mail is delivered consistently and boxes are safe modern sleek kitchen appliances pet-friendly Good Most of the staff members are friendly most apartments have a nice layout community events are frequent gym is equipped well enough Unsatisfactory Inconsistent quality of construction I've lived in two units and discovered great variability in quality of materials, fixtures, etc. parking spots fill up quickly apartment hallways elevators are cleaned very infrequently I and other residents have seen litter, broken eggs, dog feces, and banana peels remain untouched for days and sometimes weeks the smallest one-bedroom unit equivalent to a studio has a nonsensical layout rent is expensive Unacceptable Minimal to no sound insulation stairwells are dusty, littered, and almost never cleaned Overall, a solid apartment. If you can overlook some things, this would make a nice place to live. My only other concern would be the price you aren't getting what you pay for, but so is the nature of luxury apartment complexes."

We moved here when the building was brand new

We moved here when the building was brand new. Beautiful space - floors, kitchen area, stainless steel appliances, but definitely new construction... you can hear every step or movement of the people upstairs and every dog bark the floor below. Fast forward two years and three management companies later and our lease can t end soon enough. Hallway carpets have never been cleaned, stairwells are rarely swept, and the office is now open vey limited hours that do not coincide with any professional work schedule. Neighbors leave trash and cans in the hallway or in the trash chute room, despite the threat of fines. Yes, the apartment space itself is still beautiful, but neighbors can be so inconsiderate and there doesn t seem to be any kind of penalty or accountability.

Not a fan

The layout and fixtures are amazing. I love the location. However, you are right near i-4 so prepare to hear construction. Moreover, the staff in the office has gone downhill. Mimi Garcia in particular who is the Office Manager is worst. She is unprofessional and unhelpful. She alone is the reason I will likely not be resigning for another year or recommending this property to anyone I know. The others in the office have been great.

My overall experience with the Ivy was moderately good

My overall experience with the Ivy was moderately good, I stayed there for about one and half year, which allows me to say that I ve experienced everything a tenant could possibly go through. The building was brand new, I was amongst the very first tenants to occupy it, everything in the apartment worked as it should. Amenities were good and well maintained and location was very convenient. Staff was somehow responsive (at some point staff was bad but they hired new people to take over). My takes were mainly concerning the frequent fire alarms, damaged pipes and very thin walls. As for Fire alarms and damaged pipes they triggered the alarms at various times ( day & night) I remember I spent my night in my car outside the building because a fire alarm was triggered and it turned to be system error, twice. As for the thin wall, they are really thin, you can hear your neighbors as if you are sitting with them. when I signed the contract, the person who handled the process tricked me by opting my lease to 18 months instead of 12 as I asked. At later point when I realized that, he completely blamed me for not reading the contract. So if you are considering living there PLEASE READ THE CONTRACT THOROUGHLY.

Deteriorating with some shady and unprofessional

Do not live here. Parking is a hassle. There is no parking tag assigned parking so anyone can just enter and park which takes away YOUR parking spot. There was literally no parking spot during hurricanes in 2016 2017.

I love the convenience of living so close to work and the security of the complex. Very nice apartments but terrible cell service with all carriers and very expensive monthly rent. Could use a hot tub especially with what is paid in rent.
